Twins First Easter

Happy Monday! I thought I’d share a few pics from the girls’ first Easter with ya’ll. It was a long day, full of lots of family, but they did great. We went to my parents church, which is much larger than ours, to see my dad play in the church band. June slept through the entire service in Charlie’s arms. Faith wasn’t having the crowds and just really wanted some peace and quiet to sleep, which resulted in an early departure for us. I guess it’s one thing to skip their morning nap, it’s another thing to ALSO take them around a million people. Lesson learned!

We headed to my parents house after church where they got a much needed nap before our family came over for lunch. I was thankfully feeling much better to help my mom out in the kitchen. I love holidays at the lake!

Don’t mind their extra large tights and socks below…momma failed on the whole Easter shoes thing. I did manage to get them Easter baskets, even if they were full of empty eggs. Charlie and I may or may not have ate all the candy purchased for said baskets…OK it was basically just an excuse to buy candy!

They are so identical now – and adorable as ever! What a beautiful family and I’m glad to hear you are feeling better.

Now – don’t over do it!

You got a great family photo, and also a perfect picture of the twins looking the same direction and smiling at the same time. All the first occasions are so exciting. We had 10-month-old twins over for Easter lunch, plus my two-year-old grandson. I promise you there was lots of excitement and you have to be very careful where you stepped.
