Christmas Mantels

I’ll admit, I’m jealous of all of you who have fireplaces. I told my husband we will have to have a fireplace in our next home. Not only do I love them for the additional warmth but it’s a perfect place to decorate for the changing seasons.

I’m ashamed to say that the only Christmas decorating I’ve done so far is pull out our lights and assess what we don’t have in regards to Christmas decorations. Needless to say, we will be a little busy this coming weekend decking our halls. In the meantime, I’m inspired by all the beautiful mantels decorated for Christmas 🙂 I feel like they set the tone for the rest of the decor in the home, kind of a glimpse of what you love.

Here is some inspiration if you have a mantel or not. In fact, you can decorate a shelf, sideboard, or table like in the first two photos:

How cute is this chalkboard fireplace?! What a great idea for an old fireplace that’s been closed in or one that’s not used.
